After eight weeks of hard work, all the effort was obvious on stage. Well done, everyone!! Alice had a most excellent adventure in Wonderland and managed to make it home in time for her birthday party with all her friends and the delicious cake with the pink icing. Even Dinah was no worse for spending a little time shut up in the dollhouse. Thanks to all who made this latest production a success, from the actors on the stage to the tech crew in the wings and to all the people who volunteered many hours behind the scenes! Bravo!!

It's a tale of a journey, encounters with mysterious creatures, interesting tea party conversations, mean leaders and a desire to go home. Hmmmm....could be The Hobbit, the Wizard of Oz or.....the show you can see this weekend....Alice in Wonderland!! Friday at 7pm or Saturday at 2pm!

It's the final week of rehearsals and the actors are getting really excited to show off their hard work. Don't miss your chance to have an adventure with Alice in Wonderland, this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm. Advance tickets are available until Wednesday at Artisans and The Venue in Greenville and Edward's Pharmacy in Ayden for $5. Tickets are also available at the door on Friday and Saturday for $7. See in you in Wonderland!!

Advance tickets for the two performances of Alice in Wonderland are now available for purchase at Edward's Pharmacy in Ayden and at Artisan's and The Venue in Greenville. The Hatter, White Rabbit and Queen of Hearts will be joining Alice on stage November 9th at 7pm and November 10th at 2pm at the Doug Mitchell Auditorium at the Ayden Arts and Recreation Building on Lee Street in Ayden. Don't miss the craziness of Lewis Carroll's fantastical characters live and in person.

Don't forget!! This Friday is a rehearsal for blue block. Duchess, cook and frogfootman need to come. Other spectators and jury do not need to attend.

In light of Thursday's potentially dangerous weather, rehearsal is cancelled. At this point rehearsal will go on as scheduled on Friday.

Supporting the arts in Pitt County. Showing the cast and crew you appreciate their hard work. Promoting your business to an interested audience. All excellent reasons to have an advertisement in the playbill for Alice in Wonderland. See the attached form for details.

As we enter our third week of rehearsals, we have also started with the behind-the-scenes work. Join us Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and help us create Wonderland. We need painters, builders, prop makers, flower "growers", and the list goes on. If you've ever wanted to see how we make the magic happen onstage, come experience the fun of stage craft. You don't need to come every Saturday or stay for the whole time, but we would certainly appreciate the help! Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and stained and bring a lunch if you're going to stay all day.

The Full Cast/Parent Meeting will be Tuesday, September 18th--6:30 to 8pm. Please come prepared to pay production fees and meet with your committee chairs. Also, this a reminder to use to links from last weeks' email to sign up for monitoring and costume fittings. See everyone tomorrow!!

The meeting scheduled for Monday, September 17th at 6:30 pm has been cancelled. We expect it to be rescheduled for Tuesday, September 18th instead. The rehearsal schedule will then proceed as on the previously-posted calendar. If we need to make up the missed rehearsal, we will do it later and there will be plenty of advance notice. Stay safe and dry as the hurricane passes.
