Music Rehearsal & Pictures

Thank you everyone for your hard work in the last few weeks as we work on the show. I appreciate each and everyone bringing their talent to the stage.

Remember that tomorrow (October 6) we will be upstairs working on the song "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." The children will sing the first and last verse of this carol at the end of the play, just before the curtain call. The cast will receive a page with the lyrics tomorrow. A bottle of water may come in handy to stay hydrated as we sing. We will also be taking pictures (8x10 headshots from the shoulders up) during the music rehearsal, so wear a nice shirt.

The lyrics we will learn are as follows:

"I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Then ringing singing, on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime,
